Whats the Best Material for Building Houses in Terraria

ii Answers 2

According to the wiki page on the guide Barney is not among the names he has. This ways that at that place is another NPC that wants to move in. It would probably be a good thought to build another house for that NPC unless y'all don't desire him for some reason. Barney is probably the merchant who is quite useful.

As a side annotation, your leftmost building in the beginning screenshot is non a valid house, but it does not look like information technology is intended to be one either.

I would propose waiting or taking a stroll to the other side of the map and run across if that fixes the trouble. If not then hither's a listing of possible reasons the Guide isn't moving in.

  1. Your close to the corruption or red. Just try moving away from the infectious red/imperial grass to some normal green grass.

  2. Make sure the house is at to the lowest degree 8x8 and has all the necessities for a firm such as a table, chair, light source and door. 8x8 is the optimal size for a room that doesn't take up much space, but lets npcs motion in

  3. Npcs usually wont move into houses during dark or when your inside the room y'all accept congenital for them. Either look for mean solar day or take a jog across the map.

  4. Too make sure no other npc is inside the house. Two npcs can't move in the same firm together.

I hope this helped.
