Im in Love Again Since I Found You

Picture this: You've orchestrated the perfect at-abode engagement for your meaning other, featuring candles, wine, and a lovingly home-cooked (or lovingly ordered via app) dinner. But simply as your person texts you that they're on their way, you lot realize that you have no thought what sort of music to play to retain the romantic ambience. Later on all, you tin can't have your early 2000s guilty pleasure songs come upwards on shuffle while yous're trying to stare lovingly into your partner'south eyes (nothing ruins the mood similar the distinctive "youuuuuu" at the beginning of "Soulja Male child." And yes, that case is based on a true story).

Anyway, I've got you lot covered with my list of the well-nigh cute, hopeful, and achingly romantic songs ever written (in my apprehensive opinion). You'll have your vanquish/partner/Bumble date swooning.

"ROS" - Mac Miller

Most romantic lyrics: "I'm in your middle, I'm in your dream/ So fuck the world it's you and me"

Rationale: When the exterior world becomes brutal, many couples turn inwards and develop that the states-against-the-world mindset. In "ROS," Mac Miller captures what it's similar to feel close to someone, spending much of this vocal describing the trivial things he loves about his partner, similar her "stained glass" eyes, butterscotch-scented skin, and kiwi-flavored lips. The lyrics are intimate in every way, and Mac delivers them with his feature rawness.

"These Arms of Mine" - Otis Redding

Most romantic lyrics: "These arms of mine, they are alone/ Lonely and feeling blue/ These artillery of mine, they are yearning/ Yearning from wanting you"

Rationale: This vocal hits me right in the chest. It's incommunicable non to feel your arms and breast aching like Reddings' when he sings about burning to hold his lover. The music crescendos around his smooth voice as he begs,  "And if you would let them hold you/ Oh, how grateful I would be." It's such a sugariness, hostage plea for dear, and its focus on physicality is pretty sexy, too.

"Ex Gene" - Lauryn Hill

Almost romantic lyrics: "Come across, no 1 loves you more me/ and no one e'er will"

Rationale: No ane knows how to obliterate me emotionally quite similar Lauryn Hill does. In "Ex Gene" (and on this whole album, let's be real), she'south vulnerable, baring all her devotion to her beau. We recognize straightaway that her relationship is toxic, just Hill'southward honesty is so beautiful that nosotros apprehensive listeners accept no selection but to sit down, transfixed, and mind.

"Skinny Love" - Bon Iver

Near romantic lyrics: "Told my dearest to wreck it all/ Cut out all the ropes and let me fall"

Rationale: When this song came out in 2007, I was in middle schoolhouse. I could non terminate singing it equally I traipsed through my business firm, near-tears as I crooned most "the sink of blood and crushed veneer," every bit though my twelve years on earth had been rife with tragic love diplomacy.

Withal, this song all the same holds up. Bon Iver is a chief at depicting what it'south like to fully give up yourself to someone while aware that they may hurt you in the cease. I nevertheless sing this song while I lounge around my little studio apartment, drawing on real-life experiences this time, though I clinch yous that none of them involved claret-filled sinks or crushed veneers.

"Leather and Lace" - Stevie Nicks & Don Henley

Most romantic lyrics: "Lovers forever, face to face/ My city, your mountains/ Stay with me, stay/ I need you to love me/ I need you today/ Give me to me your leather, take from me my lace"

Rationale: This is Stevie Nicks' lyricism at its about poignant. She wrote "Leather and Lace" herself so performed information technology with Don Henley (of The Eagles) while they were dating. This duet is beautiful in and of itself, merely their chemical science and passion for each other makes it all the more than impactful. An ex played this for me in one case, unprompted, and I remember thinking, My God, dude. Why would you do this to me?

Wrecked.

The Way You Look This evening" - Frank Sinatra

Nearly romantic lyrics: "Lovely, never, never change/ keep that incoherent charm/ won't you please adapt it?/ 'Cause I love you lot/ Only the way y'all await tonight"

Rationale: Ah, yep. The song that plays at every wedding on earth. Popular songs are popular for a reason, though, and this one endures because of the accepting, unconditional sort of love that it depicts. In improver to Sinatra's version, I'm as well partial to Fred Astaire's rendition in the 1936 motion-picture show Swing Time and the sweetness yet tongue-in-cheek visuals continue with it.

"Everlasting Calorie-free" - The Black Keys

Most romantic lyrics: "Let me be your everlasting light/ Your train going away from hurting/ Love is the coal that makes this railroad train roll/ Let me exist your everlasting calorie-free"

Rationale: If you read the lyrics without the music, the whole song sounds kind of like a late nineteenth century poem. The love in this vocal is so pure and hopeful, and yous'll definitely gain cool-points past playing The Black Keys on a starting time appointment.

"To Know Him Is To Love Him" - Amy Winehouse

Nearly romantic lyrics: "To know, know, know him/ Is to love, love, dear him/ But to see that smiling/ Makes my life worthwhile"

Rationale: No one does unbridled honey like Amy Winehouse. Her soulful phonation takes center stage in this Phil Spector comprehend, and if you're non already in love, it will make you desire to be.

"Like Real People Practise" - Hozier

Almost romantic lyrics: "I volition not inquire you where you came from/ I will not enquire y'all, neither should you/ Honey, merely put your sweet lips on my lips/ We should only kiss like existent people practice"

Rationale: Here, Hozier is trying to convince his dear interest to forget that they both accept pasts (who doesn't?) and to just love him. There's a sense that both people in the vocal consider themselves odd in some manner (again, who doesn't?), and that they've been searching for partners similar each other for ages. "Like Real People Do" reminds u.s. of how miraculous information technology feels to dearest and be loved back.

"Can't Take My Eyes Off Yous" - Franki Valli & The Four Seasons

Most romantic lyrics: "Yous're just too skilful to be true/ Can't take my optics off of you lot/ You'd exist like heaven to touch/ I wanna hold you so much"

Rationale: To quote every Boomer from my home state of New Jersey: They just don't brand 'em like this anymore. And it's true―this vocal manages to residual emotional and sexual yearning without being crude.

And but... the gratitude Valli feels when he sings nearly loving his girl so much that he thank you God he's alive. My Lord. They really just do non brand 'em quite like this anymore.

"Forrest Gump" - Frank Sea

Most romantic lyrics: "My fingertips and my lips/ They burn from the cigarettes/ Forrest Gump, you run my listen, male child/ Running on my mind, male child"

Rationale: This is Frank Ocean'southward about criminally underrated song and I will fight anyone who has anything negative to say about it. In fact, I once made a very loud, spirited defense of this song when I was in loftier school, right after Ocean's ill-received performance of it at the 2013 Grammys.

The song is told from the perspective of Jenny in the 1994 motion-picture show Forrest Gump. It'due south about a broken, tired person coming dorsum to their pure, enduring love after a swell bargain of time has passed. Information technology's particularly meaningful, in my stance, because Ocean penned the song in the wake of his very public coming-out.

"Have Me The Way I Am" - Ingrid Michaelson

Virtually romantic lyrics: "'Cause I love you more than I could ever promise/ And you take me the way I am"

Rationale: What a throwback! Ingrid Michaelson was responsible for some of the sweetest manic-pixie-dream-girl dear songs of the early on 2000s, and this ane was her well-nigh popular. Michaelson rejoices in having found a partner who loves her, flaws and all, and she responds in kind, promising to repair what her partner breaks and buy him Rogaine when his hair starts falling out. It's a promise to dearest someone forever.

"I'thousand Not Dead" - P!nk

Most romantic lyrics: "Correct beyond the cigarette and the devilish smile/Y'all're my scissure of sunlight/ You can practice the math a thousand means/ Only you tin can't erase the facts/ That others come and others go/ But you lot e'er come dorsum"

Rationale: This is my favorite era of P!nk's music. In "I'thou Not Dead," she writes a frank, unapologetic love vocal about being a flawed human deeply in honey with another flawed human. Waxing poetic about her and her boyfriend'southward (her future married man, Cary Hart, by the way) tattoos and alluding to her own mental illness, P!nk eschews all tired clichés near honey in favor of something far more authentic and affecting.

"Hannah Hunt" - Vampire Weekend

Most romantic lyrics: "A man of religion said hidden optics could see what I was thinkin'/ I just smiled and told him/ That was only true of Hannah"

Rationale: Oh, Ezra Koenig, how you lot wound me with your beautiful words! In this song, our narrator seems to be moving around the U.S. with his beloved Hannah until she grows homesick for the east coast. Having lived in New England for around seven years, I'grand partial to this vocal for its "freezing beaches" references, but information technology's also a gentle tribute to the way fourth dimension glides abroad when you're with someone you love.

"A Vocal For Yous" - Donny Hathaway

Near romantic lyrics: "I honey y'all in a place/ Where there'southward no space or time/ I honey y'all for my life/ You're a friend of mine/ And when my life is over/ Remember when we were together"

Rationale: There have been many versions of this vocal, simply this one's my favorite. It was also Amy Winehouse's favorite. Donny Hathaway sings this with such feeling that one tin't assist but feel he's reciting a memoir when he sings his apology to a woman he neglected to settle downwardly with because he was too busy performing around the globe.

"Maps" - Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Most romantic lyrics: "Don't devious/ My kind'southward your kind/ I'll stay the same."

Rationale: Yep, this song is 90 percent simply Karen O singing "Expect, they don't love you similar I love you," but it's so powerful! If yous say something the correct style, and the accompanying music is good enough, in that location's no need to embellish much more. Proof: Beyoncé clearly nods to this song in her 2022 single "Hold Up." "Maps" endures, over a decade later, across genres.

"If I Own't Got You" - Alicia Keys

Most romantic lyrics: "Some people want diamond rings/ Some but desire everything/ But everything ways zip/ If I ain't got y'all"

Rationale: This song is all the more touching when you recall that she wrote it just as she was beginning to get famous. She promises that her renown―the fruit of all her labor―along with promises of riches, jewelry, or endless life would all mean nothing if she didn't have her man.

"Pine Tree Lines" - Told Slant

Most romantic lines: "I am the girl my parents made/ Why don't you beloved me anyway/ 'Crusade I dear the way you take up space"

Rationale: Devastating genius. Atomic number 82 vocaliser Felix Walworth delivers this song so earnestly that his vocalization literally cracks during that terminal line. I've never heard a simpler or more than startlingly accurate delineation of adoration than loving the mode someone takes up space.

"Inevitable" - Shakira

Nearly romantic lyrics: "To be fifty-fifty more honest/ No one thinks near you/ The mode I do" (Translated from Castilian)

Rationale: Shakira spends most of this song laying out all her imperfections―that she doesn't know how to make coffee, that she doesn't understand soccer, that she oversleeps, etc.―and and then proceeds to ask her homo to love her anyway.

"I Institute You lot" - Alabama Shakes

Near romantic lyrics: "I call up all them lonely days/ I traveled out on my ain/ Then yous brought me everything/ You lot made my house a abode"

Rationale: This is a celebration of finally finding your person. So who better to mind to it with than your person? Romantic, indeed.

"Rag Doll" - Franki Valli & The 4 Seasons

Most romantic lines: "I'd change her lamentable rags/ Into glad rags if I could/ My folks won't allow me/ 'Crusade they say that she's no expert."

Rationale: Some other Four Seasons vocal, yep. I'm from Bailiwick of jersey. Sue me.

Franki Valli declares his unconditional love for a girl much poorer than he is, fantasizing nearly replacing her tattered clothes with lace and finery. In spite of her poverty, he ends the song past crying, "I love you just the style you are."

He wants to give everything to someone who can offer him goose egg material. All he wants is her.

"Since I've Been Loving You lot" - Led Zeppelin

Nigh romantic lyrics: "But infant, since I've been loving you lot, yeah/ I'm about to lose my worried mind/ Oh, yeah"

Rationale: Man, these lyrics wait and so underwhelming when written downwards sans musical accessory. It's tragic.

What makes this song so romantic, to me, is the organ and bass work by John Paul Jones pair with Robert Plant'south searing vocals. It's a power blues song that hits you correct in the gut. If desperate desire were a audio, this would be it.

"Y'all Got Me" - Erykah Badu and The Roots

Most romantic lines: "If you don't worry 'tour where/ I been or who I saw  or/ What club I went to with my homies/ Baby, don't worry, you know that you lot got me"

Rationale: I cried when I saw this live. Erykah reassures her boyfriend during the chorus that she'll always exist loyal to him, while Black Thought (atomic number 82 MC of The Roots) uses his verses to tell the story of a lifelong romance. Information technology's the best dear song in hip hop, easily downwardly.

"(Yous Brand Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman - Aretha Franklin

Virtually romantic lyrics: "When my soul was in the lost and found/ Yous came along to merits it/ I didn't know just what was wrong with me/ 'Til your kiss helped me proper noun it"

Rationale: We should heal ourselves rather than await effectually for someone to heal us, but that doesn't mean that love tin't be a healing feel. Information technology's actually romantic to thank someone for making you lot feel practiced, and that's precisely what this song (written past the flawless Carole King) is almost.

"Jade" - Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

Almost romantic lyrics: "We can't help but follow, she's Buddha, just picket her/ She moves similar an old gypsy woman but swears she's a daughter/ And all that she asks we'll allow her/ For Jade is the girl of the hour"

Rationale: Alex Ebert wrote this vocal for Jade Castrinos when they were both all the same dating and however the frontpeople of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. The vocal is a serenity love letter to Castrinos―you lot could imagine Ebert singing it to her at night by the bivouac while the rest of the ring is comatose (that's this band's vibe, really). It's a shame that we no longer go to sentry the sweet relationship between these talented musicians, merely at least nosotros'll always accept this hippie love song.

"Wild Horses" - The Rolling Stones

Most romantic lyrics: "Graceless lady/ Yous know who I am/ Y'all know I can't let you/ Slide through my hands/ Wild horses/ Couldn't drag me abroad"

Rationale: Ane of the wildest bands of the '60s and '70s also happened to write one of the virtually poignant songs near love and devotion. This is nearly a long, deep intimacy between two people, and of beingness physically unable to resist the person you admire.

"Jim Bogart" - The Front Bottoms

Virtually romantic lyrics: "I would sleep better on your floor/ Than I would ever in my bed/ And if your carpet makes my face crawling/ It'd still be heaven in my head"

Rationale: "Jim Bogart" opens with the higher up lyrics, sung with lead vocalist Brian Sella'southward signature raw vocals. He abandons all pride in his love for this daughter, promising to do his guitar every night, to sleep on her flooring without complaint, and to to ignore his doc'south communication―all to win her honey. We shouldn't take to debase ourselves for love (*rolls eyes* yeah, yeah aye), but this is art. And if we're beingness honest, this sentiment is relatable for anyone who'south prayed for their dearest to be reciprocated.

"Loving You" - Elvis Presley

Almost romantic lyrics: "If I'm seen with someone new/ Don't be blue, don't you be blue/ I'll be faithful, I'll exist true/ Always true, true to you"

Rationale: Elvis tells his love not to become jealous or to believe the hype effectually him and other women, reassuring her that she's the one for him. Although multiple sources take claimed that Elvis did, indeed, crook on his wife, Priscilla, this remains his sweetest love song.

"Melissa" - The Allman Brothers Band

Most romantic lyrics: "Knowing many, loving none/ Bearin' sorrow, havin' fun/ Only back home he'll always run/ To sweet Melissa"

Rationale: Here, the Allman Brothers sing nigh a traveling musician who can't go over his sweetheart no thing how many other women he meets. She always ends up resurfacing in his listen, and eventually, he e'er returns to her.

"My Old Human" - Joni Mitchell

Most romantic lyrics: "He's my sunshine in the morning/ He's my fireworks at the terminate of the day/ He'southward the warmest chord I always head/ Play that warm chord, play and stay, infant"

Rationale: Mitchell's soaring mezzo-soprano meanders through a portrait of her relationship in this vocal, insisting throughout that, "We don't demand no piece of paper from the metropolis hall." She's saying that she doesn't need external validation of the relationship―this man gives her all she needs to feel secure in their bond.

"Devil In a New Dress" - Kanye W, Rick Ross

About romantic lyrics: "Put your hands to the constellations/ The way you wait should be a sin, you my sensation"

Rationale: Kanye West is a pretty polarizing figure, simply this is still one of my favorite albums of all time. It'southward a bloodshot tribute to his infamous human relationship with Amber Rose, and this song encapsulates the ofttimes-sexy, e'er-complicated connection between ii people who aren't expert for each other, withal can't stay away from one another.

"Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip Hop)" - Erykah Badu, Mutual

Most romantic lyrics: "Just that is all backside me/ 'Cause now in that location is no other/ My love is his and his is mine/ A friend became the/ Love of my life"

Rationale: Conventional communication tells u.s.a. to autumn in dear with someone who tin be our  friend, also. This vocal is about 2 lifelong all-time friends who find their way back to each other after time spent apart. With her famously beguiling voice, Erykah Badu captures the joy of being truly known by ane's partner.

"A Dominicus Kind of Love" - Etta James

About romantic lyrics: "I desire a Sunday kind of honey/ A dearest to concluding past Saturday night/ I want to know it's more than dear at first sight"

Rationale: We've all been at this indicate before. If Etta James were to take written this song today, she would have been explaining that she was sick of one-night-stands and Tinder/Bumble/Hinge dates that get nowhere. She'd exist saying she was tired of sweaty strangers in confined shouting into her ear, over deafening music, asking if she wants to take a shot.

Instead, she'd want something substantial. Someone to relax and binge Schitt's Creek reruns with on the weekends.

May nosotros all discover that Sunday kind dear.

"Baby I'chiliad Yours" - Arctic Monkeys

Well-nigh romantic lyrics: "Infant, I'm yours/ And I'll be yours until the stars fall from the sky/ Yours until the rivers all run dry/ In other words, until I die"

Rationale: This song sounds similar it was written in the '50s or '60s. In some ways, it's your run-of-the-factory slow song, only at that place's something charming about the Arctic Monkeys being the ones to perform this retro pledge of devotion.

"She Will Be Loved" - Maroon five

Most romantic lyrics:"I don't mind spendin' everyday / Out on your corner in the pourin' rain"

Rationale:I remember listening to this song in eye school, wishing that the boy I had a crush on would dear me enough to stand outside my window in the pelting. In retrospect, that would have been bad-mannered and inconvenient to explain to my mother, and these days I would probably detect such behavior creepy (when I'm in my pajamas in my flat, peacefully eating Takis and watching The Sopranos, the last matter I need is a man continuing exterior, watching me from the street like something out of The Exorcist), but the sentiment of this song nevertheless stands.

"Because the Night" - Patti Smith

Virtually romantic lyrics: "Come on, now, attempt and empathize/ The style I feel when I'thou in your hands/ Take my hand, come hush-hush/ They tin can't hurt you now"

Rationale: In this song, which was originally written by lyrical legend Bruce Springsteen, Smith promises her lover that he's safe with her. If you've read Smith'southward volume Just Kids, you lot'll probably listen to this song and recall of her and Robert Mapplethorpe singing and dancing to it downwardly the streets of lower Manhattan.

"La Vie En Rose" - Edith Piaf

Nigh romantic lyrics: "When he holds me in his artillery/ And he speaks to me softly/ I run across the world through rose-colored glasses" (Translated from French)

Rationale: You lot definitely know this vocal. It's the go-to for every romantic scene in every American movie nigh French republic. And, granted, it's a great choice for a dinner engagement, especially if you want to get a piddling slow dancing started.

"Someday" - The Growlers

Most romantic lyrics: "Just stay for 1 more than night/ 1 day y'all're gonna be my wife/ You lot'll never have to worry again/ I'grand gonna exist your human being"

Rationale: It sounds lead singer Brooks Nielsen's at present-wife was getting really sick of his bullshit, and that he wrote this vocal as a plea to get her to say. It's poetic, energetic, and hopeful, and it would have worked on me, as well, tbh.

"Wouldn't It Be Nice" - The Beach Boys

Near romantic lyrics: "Wouldn't it be nice if we were older?/ So we wouldn't have to wait so long"

Rationale: This is sung from the perspective of someone who'southward already certain about who he wants to spend the residuum of his life with. And he's wishing that the rest of his life could start right now.

"Stay" - Rihanna, Mikky Ekko

Near romantic lyrics: "Not actually sure how to feel about information technology/ Somethin' in the fashion you move/ Makes me feel similar I can't live without you lot"

Rationale: Dear isn't a formula. In that location'south no existent logic to why we fall in love with some people merely not others, and Rihanna hits the nail on the head when she says it'south only "something in the style [he] move[s]." Information technology's reminiscent of The Beatles' song "Something." Speaking of which...

"Something" - The Beatles

Most romantic lyrics: "Something in the style she moves / Attracts me like no other lover / Something in the fashion she woos me / I don't want to leave her now"

Rationale:This song is a ho-hum, dreamy ode on an otherwise bluesy album. George Harrison was the Beatle who penned information technology, writing that he wasn't sure what exactly triggered his dearest or whether it would grow.  All he knew was that the love was there, and that that should be enough.

"Androgynous" - The Replacements

Near romantic lyrics: "And they love each other so/ Androgynous/ Closer than we know, love each other so/ Androgynous"

Rationale: This song is about 2 non-binary people falling in love, which is pretty absurd for a song from 1984. Our main characters, archetypically named Dick and Jane, honey each other regardless of gender. The Replacements brand a compelling statement about why traditional gender roles and clothing should brand no difference if you're truly in love with someone.

"I'll Be Seeing You" - Billie Vacation

Almost romantic lyrics: "I'll find you lot in the morning sun/ In every lovely summertime's twenty-four hour period/ In everything that's right and gay/ I'll e'er think of you"

Rationale: Y'all know when you're freshly in love (or heartbroken), and everything reminds you of that person? That's what this song is about. Everything around Holiday―the natural world, a park, a cafe, a carousel―is a fond reminder of her honey.

"Sunday Candy" - Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment

Virtually romantic lyrics: "You've got to motility it slowly/ Have it in my torso like it'due south holy/ I've been waiting for you for the whole week/ I've been praying for you, you're my Dominicus candy"

Rationale: The Social Experiment is the hip hop collective that boasts members such as Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa (the former of which is featured heavily on this song). Jamila Woods performs the chorus to this song so sweetly that information technology's like shooting fish in a barrel to forget the sexual implications, and she and Chance tell the story of a couple that spends a calendar week at a time missing each other, absorbed in thoughts of one another until they're finally reunited.

"Come As Yous Are" - Nirvana

Near romantic lyrics: "Come as y'all are/ As yous were/ As I want you to be"

Rationale: At that place are many interpretations of what this vocal means, ranging from mental health to friendship to commentary on inauthenticity. But, to me, "Come As You lot Are" works equally the ultimate grunge love song; as a promise to love and capeesh someone just the way they are.

"Delight, Please, Please" - James Chocolate-brown

Most romantic lyrics: "Baby please, baby delight, delight me/ Infant please, babe please don't become/ Don't go, I said baby, don't baby/ I love you then"

Rationale: This song is almost entirely comprised of James Chocolate-brown repeating "please," and, supposedly, he got a lot of flack from his producers almost that earlier its release. But, like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Maps," this track'south magic lies in the passion with which information technology'south delivered–and James Chocolate-brown is nada if not passionate.

"I Will Always Love You" - Dolly Parton

Most romantic lyrics: "And I hope life will care for you kind/ And I promise that you accept all/ That you e'er dreamed of/ Oh, I exercise wish you joy/ And I wish you lot happiness/ Merely above all this/ I wish you love"

Rationale: Without a uncertainty, y'all're familiar with Whitney Houston's rendition of "I Will Always Beloved You," just I dearest Dolly Parton's soft-spoken, country version equally well. Where Houston belts, Parton croons, making this a dandy alternative for when you want to hear this song on a tranquility evening in.

 "Songbird" - Fleetwood Mac

Near romantic lyrics: "And I wish you lot all the love in the world/ Merely most of all, I wish it from myself/ And the songbirds proceed singing/ Similar they know the score"

Rationale: Fleetwood Mac'due south members were notorious for hooking up within their ranks, and Christine McVie (writer and primary vocalizer on this song) was no exception. This is a unique love song, considering it does unconditional love different whatever other: Information technology illustrates how it's entirely possible to beloved someone and desire the best for them while accepting, albeit sadly, that you might non exist that all-time thing.

"Get-go Day of My Life" - Bright Eyes

Nigh romantic lyrics: "But I realized I need you lot/ And I wondered if I could come home"

Rationale: This Bright Eyes track makes me wish I was amend at playing guitar. Frontman Conor Oberst makes a frank plea for his beloved, telling her, "I'm glad I didn't dice before I met you lot," and asking for permission to arroyo. It's an exercise in startling honesty, and the issue, like the whole album, is profound.

"Bounding main of Love" - Cat Power

Most romantic lyrics: "Come with me, my love/ To the sea, the sea of dear/ I wanna tell you lot/ How much I dearest you "

Rationale: Originally, the last vocal on this listing was going to exist T.I.'s "Whatsoever You Similar" because I'm determined that it will play at my wedding one day (I'thousand not kidding), but "Sea of Honey" is too romantic to pass up. With minimal instrumentation, Cat Power delivers a brief but heartfelt beloved alphabetic character whose genius lies in its profound simplicity. x/10.
